Mekong 69 Hostel

Rose the owner and the staff were very helpful and even helped us to book the bus for our next destination. They were very welcoming. Not extra charges for the help offered. They even walked us to our taxi to make sure we will be arriving to the correct bus station and that the taxi will charge us the right price. We recommend this place more if you are travelling on a budget. It was clean, near to key locations in town. Very honest and just as described on the ad.

Very noisy water pump throughout the night. Room not cleaned or towels/toilet paper replenished. very hard bed.

Staff was friendly and accommodating. The VIP rooms look really good.

The intentionally wrong address. The address is 6/9, which means it's in an alley. I wouldn't have minded if they were up front about it. However, they use the wrong address on purpose so the place appears to be on the main street. What they didn't realise is that made it impossible to find the place.

I cannot say anything negative about the place, however, I stayed only one night.

Overall a great stay. Staff was really nice and helped us with everything we needed (e.g. motorbike, boat tour, additional towels, recommendations on what to do, …). Everything was clean and our room was upgraded without extra charges. As we stayed for a longer time we even got invited to their private party to learn more about the Vietnamese Culture and traditions. Thank you very much for this great stay!

Good location, very close to the center and night market. The host and staff are super friendly and helpful, they’ll give all the support you need. The room is clean and comfy even though it’s a bit smaller than expected

The owner is one of a kind. She was so gentle and nice to us. English perfectly spoken, which is rare over here. She managed to book the floating market trip, and planned our departure to Con Dao. So smiley and kind. The place was clean and tidy, for a fair price 👌🏻
