"Great option with amazing staff"

My room was small but comfortable and the bathrooms were always clean as was the kitchen. The staff were lovely and so helpful and kind and the cat was adorable. The food was plentiful and delicious. I only had a cold breakfast but the cooked options looked great. I highly recommend the tuktuk tour to learn more about Soweto.

The WiFi was slow and frequently dropped out. I had a little bit of trouble locating reception as it is tucked around the corner from where the sign is. My door kept sticking and was hard to open because it's exposed to the weather.

What a wonderful and colorful place! We heard some good stories about this one and we loved it! Very nice staff, very passionate about their jobs and the hostel. Food was great too but the thing that topped it all was the 4 hour bike ride through Soweto. This is something you definitely should do when you are in Johannesburg. I hope many more people come and stay here to get a good sense of what Soweto really is. Just go there!

Everything was wonderful. Wish we could have stayed longer!
