⭐ 2/5 Wildfarm: Come for the view, stay because you can’t hear yourself think If you’re looking for breathtaking scenery, peaceful nature, and the soothing sounds of the Wilderness… Wildfarm absolutely nails the first one. The view? Stunning. Postcard-worthy. The kind of view that makes you briefly forget your problems and consider becoming a full‑time nature influencer. Unfortunately, the peace and quiet packed its bags long before we did. By 3am, the “Wild” in Wildfarm was no longer referring to the landscape, but to the party happening somewhere between our room and the gates of hell. After hours of trying to sleep through what sounded like a DJ battling a pack of hyenas for dominance, we finally surrendered. We checked out at 3am, bleary‑eyed, emotionally defeated, and drove 80km back home just to experience that rare luxury known as silence. On the bright side, we now know we can survive a midnight road trip through the Garden Route on zero sleep and pure spite. Would we return? Absolutely, but only if the scenic view comes with noise‑cancelling headphones, a sleep guarantee, or a personal force field.

Very quiet and serene location. One of my favourite places during South Africa trip

Because it is on top of the hill, getting there is a hastle. 2 kms drive from the town and the cabs are expensive.

I liked that, being a secluded place high in the mountains, it had a beautiful view; the stars at night are incredible. It's a great place to relax and enjoy nature.

During the days I spent there, there was no internet, and this made it difficult, for example, to order a taxi to go to tourist attractions.
