Baan Mai Sak

I loved the warmth of the place, how attentive the owner is, and the tranquility you feel there. I think it had been a long time since I rested as well as I did there. The beds are super comfortable, and the guests staying there were very respectful. It’s a place to stay for a long period of time—such a shame I could only stay one night. It’s located next to one of the best cafés I’ve ever tried in Pai and the location is unbeatable. I truly recommend this place and would definitely come back

Very nice common area with hammocks and sofa to spend time.

Started to get a little stuffy in the room, even during the cold season. Aircon not provided during these months. Tiles broken in bathrooms, a little dangerous

I stayed here 3 nights in total although I had booked for one because I really liked it. It is a very good place to land in Pai as it is just 5 minute walk from bus station and walking street. The place has a chill homey atmosphere. Its humble but really well taken care of, you can see the love in the little details. There is a lovely porch with hammocks to chill out, a living room, outdoor shower option which I super loved, a garden & a kitchen-which is not so obvious in thai hostels. The location is very practical and the owner is always ready to help, really chill guy. Took the time to explain me everything about the hostel. You can also rent motorbike here. The dorm room is very nice too. I had the 4 female dorm which is quiet roomy, has lockers and a mirror. Very cosy. Comfy beds. I really recommend 👌

Friendly host, great location and comfy beds

Bathroom and kitchen facilities could have been a little cleaner, but still okay. We'd booked a 4bed dorm but were put in a 6 bed.

The host was incredibly nice and available. He remembered my name as well as the name of all the guests whom he introduced me to which was really nice :)

The host learns everyone’s names and makes sure everyone is happy. It’s all cleaned daily and in a lovely quiet location that’s still close to the main walking street, cafes, markets, and the park. There were charging ports at every bed. The host happily let me extend my stay and kept my bags safe before checkin and after checkout while I explored.

I found the mattress slightly hard and the pillow too flat, but nothing an adventuring traveller can’t handle ;)
