La Palmera Hostel

Cool hostel, very social. The amenities are good and it's very familiar atmosphere . The kitchen is awesome, the best I have ever seen in a hostel. I had a great time.

Nothing mayor about the hostel, but some of the services are very expensive (e.g. laundry) and everything is run by volunteers, so some of them don't really know the area and how to do things.

Absolutely the best hostel I have ever been to in my life!! Everything here made with thought and love. Volunteers and stuff are amazing! Kitchen is one of those where you really want to cook, which is very very impressive for the hostel. Always amazing vibe going on.

I don't know how or why, but the hostel felt like a family. I think it's partially because the staff was so friendly and I liked the company to do tours with.

I felt like the toilets didn't offer much privacy and the showers weren't the cleanest

The volunteers are amazing, the beds are really good and a bathroom of our own in the female dorm was really nice!

An amazing hostel with a lot of space for socialising, cooking together and dancing! It got everything you need and a really nice and welcoming vibe!

This is surely one of the best hostels I‘ve ever stayed in! The atmosphere is great for solo travelers, it‘s a social hostel which offers tours, salsa classes, party nights etc. But also if you come here to just chill for a bit, you‘ll be perfectly able to do that, too. I really liked the food tour and the comuna 20 tour they offered (the guide is super nice!) and the salsa instructors working there are amazing! The staff and volunteers working there are always friendly and helpful. The rooms you stay in are clean and spacious and there‘s plenty of storage room for your luggage. All in all, my stay here felt more like staying in a big family house rather than a hostel, I extended my stay there twice! I really loved it and would totally come back here again!

I loved the vibe at La Palmera. The hostal had several places to hang out and socialize, the salsa classes were very fun, and the breakfast was excellent!

Too expensive for the quality of the rooms. Things are old and not in good condition
