La Palmera Hostel

We really enjoyed our stay at La Palmera. The staff and volunteers were so helpful. Any questions we had about the area, where to food shop, where ATMs are located - they were all happy to help. The hostel itself is a lovely place to unwind. Many areas to relax. The shared kitchen is the best we have seen so far. Well equiped. They have an online cafe that was gorgeous and fairly priced. The hostel offers group salsa classes every evening, which are great fun and a great way to learn. They also offer private classes for a fee. The hostel also offers food tours, city tours and nights out in salsa clubs and party buses. There is a roof top bar also with a lovely view over the city.

Great vibe here. Very social and centric on salsa as you'd expect in Cali but people were extending their stays due to comfort and ease of being in Cali whilst staying at Palmera. Great views from my bedroom also!

Could do with more secure/locked luggage storage but otherwise everything was top notch.

Amazing place and staff , always has something planned for the day

Deze locatie is geweldig en je neemt alles voor lief, want je voelt je tijdens het reizen even thuis. Het heeft een huiselijke sfeer en de vrijwilligers en het personeel zijn vriendelijk! De eigenaar Jose kan je met alles helpen, zolang je hem vraagt. De dansleraren zijn super leuk en maken het nog leuker. Ze voelen echt als familie en geven het hostel echt een cali gevoel. Schoonmaaksters zijn ook super vriendelijk. Lekker dansen, koken en uitgaan! Wat een geweldig leven is dit hostel!

Great vibe and layout, lots of great activities to do and organised with the hostel. We even did a free salsa class with the hostel, was fun. It was in a quiet residential area which felt safe. Staff were friendly and the room we stayed in the double room was very spacious and comfortable.

Breakfast was do it yourself which wasn’t ideal given the kitchen could get quite busy.

O café da manhã é o ponto alto! Ótimas opções e só deveria melhorar o café mesmo, tem uma opção de coado (tinto) e não só o instantâneo.

The ambience, the entrance Is gorgeus, staff Is very helpful and it's nice that it's active and social for those who are looking for this.

There should be some Sort of mini soap and mini shampoo in a private room. Also, it can get cold before morning starts, so some Sort of light blanket could be really helpful.
