Die Ausstattung, besonders beeindruckend der Umbau im unteren Bereich, der eine beeindruckende Überraschung für mich war. Die mega kreative Realisierung, die einfach zur erneuten Reservierung drängt, um das sportliche Angebot für klein und gross, Anfänger und Eingeweihten des betroffenen Sportes zu nutzen. Aber auch die so kinderfreundlichen Gestaltung speziell für die ganz kleinen Kids , die den Urlaub zum perfekten Familienurlaub werden zu lassen wird, einfach herzig mit wie viel Liebe, an die ganz kleinen gedacht wurde! Ganz zu schweigen von der absoluten, nicht zu überbietenden Lage, im scheinbaren Paradis der Schweizer Berge, wie man Sie noch aus dem Heidi-Geschichten sich vorstellt, mit dem Unterschied zu Heidi und ihren Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, denn den Gästen von Hängematt steht gleich um die Ecke eine kleine Volg-Einkaufsmöglichkeit bereit.Heidi hatte da wohl in der Hinsicht weniger Glück.

Das ich nach einer Übernachtung wieder abreisen musste. Und das ich nicht so schnell wieder eine Aussicht aus der Dusche im Hängematt haben werde, wie das von mir beigefügte Photo hier zeigt. Selbst wenn ich bei dem bewölkten Himmel aus dem Fenster nur zwei Raben sah, solange die Kleinkinder sich über den Adler aus Holz freuen, der mit der Seilbahn im Kinderspielraum über seinem Kopf seiner Bewegung folgt und ihm ein täuschend realistischen blauen Himmel bietet, inklusive Holzwolke. Da kann ich versichern, dass es kein auf Holz-Klopfen benötigen wird, damit es herrliche schöne Momente werden für alle Reisenden, welche besagte Unterkunft teilen und diesen Urlaub dann für immer im Gedächtnis behalten!

Der Betreiber war super nett und zuvorkommend. Tolle Hostel-Athmosphäre!

Everything. All the reviews about this accomodation are true. To provide a more unique piece of comment, when I arrived late, tired and outside of incheck hours, I found the bedsheets presented neatly inside-out. In case we are not familiair with how to make up a bed the easiest way, take the sheets inside-out and shake like crazy. I was tired and I was positively speechless (if I was talking). Never made a bed up so easily in my life, for real. On a more personal experience, Matt really gave me the “Swiss” feeling that other, more touristy places, failed me to provide. I felt comfortable and like at home in the area, but then in Switzerland. I will definitely come back here, to climb the mountain across Matt. I did not have the time for it sadly. Also, ja, Florian, cool dude. The reviews about the host does him right. (Also you get free public transport btw, in the Kanton)

Paradise on earth ! would recommend for sure. very friendly people and breathtaking surroundings. A lot of easily accessible hikes, supermarket on the other side of the road and very clean kitchen you can use. breakfast is very good with all local foods. very nice common room as well.

I stayed at the Aktivhostel for one night on my Zurich to Geneva cycle epic. After an extremely hard first day, this accom set the bar for the rest of the trip. The place is beautifully appointed in the theme of Swiss adventure and skiing. The host is wonderful and personable, he cooks beautiful, local and seasonal food for you and shares his insights into the valley as a trail builder. The hostel is his passion project for his family and you can tell. He’s built a beautiful sanctuary that is warm and welcoming!

Beautiful hostel in a beautiful village. Cheerful host. My room was very spacious, for a hostel, with only one bunk bed. I have been allowed to place and recharge my e-bike inside the house.

I had to pay extra CHF 5 for one day use of the kitchen. WIFI is not reliable. Signal comes and goes. At nighttime there was no signal until the host waked up in the morning.

Owner (Florian) is phenomenal, amazing place as well
