International Inn Kokage

The owner is a lovely cute old lady, and was very welcoming. We were able to leave our things before and after checkout. It was very cheap for the big double rooms. The decor was very cute and homey as well. The owner also found a charger we left in one of the rooms and returned it to us which is much appreciated.

The onsen there wasn’t working but the owner provided coupons to use a local one. The bathroom was a little small for a 184cm person.

Great experience, super friendly and accomodating host, warm lady running the inn and supporting with any questions. Everything was very clean and the location is great if you want to be close to the station as well as around central area of the town. Reccomend if you want to enjoy Japanese experience :)

温泉が近く、飲食店が近いので、ロケーションばっちりでした！また、お部屋や建物自体がホットできる昭和感が本当によかったです(*^^*)今じゃなかなか目にできないのでは？という物が、フロントのいたるところに隠れてました！　 そして、一番よかったのは、スタッフ様でした。 温かさを感じる声掛けや、温泉のあとのミカンが嬉しかったです！

Location, close to the Beppu JR station. Very helpful owner. I had an early ferry for Shikoku. She was up at 5:30 am and went out looking for a taxi.

Old building with great host and great location, only a short walk from main train station. Affordable for the location

Facilities are outdated and not well cleaned/maintained, shower was not working (a free ticket to nearby onsen was offered)

駅近で便利、コンビニも温泉も飲食店も近くにあるから不便さは全く感じません。オーナーさんの心のこもった対応がとても良く、2回目の利用で覚えててくださったのも嬉しかったです。 問い合わせなどのメッセージも24時間以内に返信くださり助かりました。宿に別府市内の案内マップや割引券なども置いてあります。 宿の温泉が使えなくなってしまったのが残念ですが、外湯のチケットをくださるのと、洗面器・リンスインシャンプー・ボディソープ・フェイスタオル2枚を用意してくださるので、お部屋からバスタオルを持っていけば行けちゃいます‼︎マイシャンプー・コンディショナーなどがある方は一緒に持参すればOKです。

駅近なのと隣に居酒屋があるので、飲んだ後は声が大きくなってしまうので話し声が聞こえてしまう。オーナーさんも対応してくださいますが、気になる方は念のため耳栓かイヤホンがあると良いかと思います。
