La Tortue Diving Resort Dauin

Incredibly cheap dorm for such a nice dive center. Equipment was in pristine condition. Food was delicious, albeit, a bit expensive if you travel on a budget.

No coffee/snacks offered in between dives. It would be nicer to have a complimentary one for 3 dives days.

I booked this stay based on previous reviews, and it was simply amazing. The food was fantastic. A very nice range of choices including some wonderful salads which are hard to find .For me, it was the small touches that stood out. Mosquito coils put out by the room every evening, cotton swabs in the bathroom area, the lovely cold bottles of water available on to take to your room and serving your food wherever you would like and lastly, many fluffy pillows! Hospitality was on point. I also did a few dives with them, and as a new diver, they were super helpful and patient . Would absolutely stay again.

This place is very comfortable,especially for divers. Staff are very friendly and kind.

I loved the staff and my experience for my certification of open water, Maura, the teacher was the best. The crowd is 90% French so just so you know! I met great people and food was good (you can find cheaper elsewhere but still very varied and fresh). 100% happy with my stay at La Tortue!

We stayed in the bubgalow in front of the showers so it can be a bit noisy. The bungalow was nice but we found it a bit small for two people, a little bedside lamp and some extra shelves would be a nice added value.

stay here for almost a week and it was a perfect place to base our selves while diving. the bungalow is bigger then it looks in the pictures and there is plenty of space to sit on in the balcony area. hearing the waves crash in front of the unit was so great every night. the grounds are immaculately kept by the staff that really go above and beyond to make it comfortable for you. they even were rustling the plants to get the mosquitos out and zap them with a bug zapper. next level. then there was our dive guy glenn. this man is a pro with a great sense of humor, always a funny or wise story to tell from his years of experience in the industry, and of course a master spotter of all the crazy weird creatures we came to dauin to see. he planned our days based on our wishlist and the weather conditions. even though it wasn't frog fish season we still saw many and got three different octopuses (not during octo season). 💜 really the whole crew here are the best, from the tricycle driver they use for transfers from the airport, to the crew in the kitchen cooking up delicious food, the drivers out to the dive sites, and even the night watchman, ivan. all of them are kind and willing to help making this place feel super welcoming and comfortable. it's no wonder people come back again and again.
