Tani Jiwo Hostel

A kind of trendy guesthouse. Our students stayed in dormitories. They provide us with breakfast in a bento form, which is actually good as everyone of us was busy. We could make coffee and tea by ourselves in the lounge. The shower has enough hot water, but it is just in a small room with a toilette. Anyway the staff are young enthusiastic people, which make us feel good, too.

The shower room is too small. The restaurnat has few menu and we had to wait for a long time to get the food we order. We could have gone just to warung nearby. That should have been faster and cheaper.

- the staff was nice and helpful - if you plan to visit the plateau walking, it's ideally situated. The bus from Wonosobo can leave you just in front - The room is quite big - There is hot water in the shower - Free kitchen

- Noise from the street and other guests can be heard a lot in the room - The door to the smoking area is always open so from time to time a strong smell of cigarettes arrives in the room - the bathroom is a bit mouldy and rusty

The staff were really friendly, the location was great and there was plenty of information scattered around the hostel of things to do in the area. Plenty of social areas to relax in and a great breakfast each morning.

I had to wait a little bit for warm water, but’s it’s totally normal, nothing to complain about
