The location was amazing, for someone who likes to be immersed in wilderness. The facilities are cute, and the things we had for breakfast were tasty.

I think they took the rustic feel a little too far. The windows of the room didn't close properly, the room wasn't properly insulated (gaps around the room door), so bugs could easily get in. Also the room was not very clean, there was even a used soap bar with hair on in the shower. The breakfast was tasty, and certainly very healthy. However it was pretty random, on the site they advert home made marmelades, but then it turns out the owner only makes it when she feels like it, so that was a little disappointing.

A beautiful place and property. Surrounded by nature and tranquil, Vila Flor is an experience not just a destination. Sunrise from bed every morning, followed by breakfast overlooking the garden and trees with the ocean in the distance. Breakfast was delicious, lots of choice and all fresh and home baked. I would highly recommend Vila Flor.

Amazing place with amazing hots

I especially appreciated the warmth and hospitality from the hosts. The breakfast is the best breakfast I’ve had as a compliment to a stay. I was in awe each morning by the care and talent put into the preparation of the food. It was a gastronomical experience. Homemade cakes, homemade bread, fresh juice, fresh fruit, eggs scrambled to perfection- even the cream cheese was made in house! And the list of food on my plate goes on- I could only compare it to a Turkish style breakfast. I also appreciated the tranquility of the space that allowed for privacy to disconnect and opportunities to be in community, it is a tricky balance to accomplish and Vila Flor does it effortlessly.
