White Rose Hostel

Excellent hostel, very clean and comfortable. The friendly family running the place are a wealth of knowledge on things to do in the local area. Walkable from the bus stand and easy to get around Kandy from.

Ideale locatie voor 1 nacht om daarna de trein te nemen. Is 10min wandelen van het station. Slaapkamer en Badkamer proper. Airco is aanwezig voor een prijsje.

Very good experience over all. Host and his parents are really nice. They have very good tips not just about the city. I wasnt completely sure about my upcomimg plans in Sri Lanka and owmer gave me so many good advises about what is worth to visit and also the easiest way have to get there. Accomodation was very nice and comfortable. Gave me really good vibes and i felt very safe as a woman solo traveller. They also have terrace with the view of the city, good for mornig joga practise if you like;)) I very much enjoyed it and i would strongly recommend

Good location just outside of the main city centre, still walkable and near to buses going to perediniya Host has lots of recommendations for activities and ensures you get the most out of your stay - thank you!! ❤️ Really comfy dorm beds

Theres a bit of traffic and construction noise at night because of the main road, but it didnt disturb me with the windows closed, just something to be aware of

A cozy, very clean place with a lot of character. Great rooftop. Comfortable beds. The owner and his family are very friendly. Everything is very close, especially railway and bus station. You can tell they do it with love, and if I’m ever back in Kandy, I’ll be happy to return here. I extended my stay because it really feels like home.

Not necessarily a bad thing, but was more of a home stay vibe rather than a hostel as titled. Still enjoyed our stay regardless
