Nature Lovers' Hostel

Asanka ist ein super host! Ich hatte nur eine Nacht gebucht und bin letztendlich 4 Nächte geblieben weil ich nicht gehen konnte. Die Lage ist perfekt, man kann rund um Kandy super viel machen. Asanka und seine Freunde sind sehr bemüht und wollen immer nur das Beste für einen. Sie haben sich sehr viel Zeit genommen um mir die Gegend zu zeigen und mir die Geschichte Sri Lankas zu erklären. Sehr interessant! Die Zeit dort war unvergesslich und ich werde wieder kommen. Danke euch für alles! Bleibt so wie ihr seid! (Das Frühstück und Kottu ist übrigebs sehr gut, unbedingt ausprobieren:))

Das Hostel hat (meines Erachtens) alles was man braucht, bequemes Bett mit Moskitonetz und Gemeinschaftsbad und das umgeben von ganz vielen unterschiedlichen Pflanzen und Tieren, abseits des Trubels in Kandy. Wer also mit wenig auskommt und gerne in der Natur ist (das Hostel heißt ja auch nature lover's hostel) der bekommt genau das. Wenn man kein "Nature lover" ist dann geht man lieber wo anders hin..

Danke für die wunderbaren Tage bei euch in Kandy! Ich habe mich sehr wohlgefühlt und super viel bei eurer Stadt Tour gelernt. Ihr seid großartig!!!

Best hostel in Sri Lanka! Really enjoyed my stay here. The hostel has a very authentic vibe which makes it a great experience! Asanka is a very nice and intelligent person. He knows a lot about the history of Sri Lanka and about buddhism. The off the beaten path tour was very enjoyable! Overall the vibe of Asanka and the hostel made this an unforgettable experience!

Was dark on the road there as I arrived late and walked, but the host was in good communication with me and came out to the road to guide me in.

We had a wonderful time at the hostel. What truly made our stay exceptional was the host, Asanka. He provided us with all the necessary information for exploring Kandy and its surroundings. Impressively, he managed to secure reserved tickets for the train to Ella, even though they were sold out at the station. Asanka’s aunt prepared breakfast for us each morning, and it was one of the best breakfasts we had in Sri Lanka. The hostel itself is quite basic but offers comfortable beds with mosquito nets and all the essentials you need. We decided to extend our stay in Kandy by an additional day, and Asanka guided us throughout the whole day. He shared insights on the history of Sri Lanka, Buddhism, and more, all in perfect English. Would definitely recommend if you want an unforgettable experience.

I always stay in hostels for the same price but it was just too dirty to stay. I was welcomed warmely and helpful but I can not stay just because I am polite. It was the first time I ever left. As a single women travelling alone I as well didnt felt safe as there is nobody around. I felt as well very uncomfortable to be needing to poit out the state of the accompdation.

Asanka is an amazing host. He is so proud of his place and Kandy and shows you around about culture and history. He also helped with getting a trainticket to Ella. It was an unforgettable experience and we laughed our asses off together. Thanks again King Asanka!

Nothing. It’s a real local experience with Asanka and is start-up hostel. A real must do if you accept basic facilities.
