Absolutely exceptional service. Did the volcano boarding/mangrove tour, would highly recommend. The mangrove tour was private, as I was the only one who signed up. Had a blast attempting to use my very poor Spanish and looking for wildlife. Disappointed that I missed the turtle release by one day. Loved the dining options within the hostel so I didn't need to wonder the streets alone after dark. They definitely look after their guests. I walked outside after dark and one of the employees chased after me, warning me not to go far by myself (single, female traveler).

The surrounding area isn't super safe for a solo female traveler but that's not the hostel's fault. Their place is well kept and looked after. No hot water, but that is to be expected in Central America. No A/C, also to be expected.

Great location! Breakfast was cheap and delicious, lots of options. Also very nice place to have dinner or lunch. Booked a tour right there and it was so much fun!

Habitaciones muy simples El hostal es muy ruidoso porque tiene un bar muy popular y con musica muy alta- no hay sonorización ( si quieres tranquilidad este no es tu alojamiento ). La cocina del bar esta muy cerca de las habitaciones y siempre huele a frito.

Super schönes Hostel; zentral gelegen dennoch ruhig. Im vorderen Bereich gibt es ein Restaurant, wo auch locals kommen. Zweimal die Woche gibt es auch Live Bands. Für 1usd mehr gibt es sogar ein Frühstück. Das Hostel beinhaltet auch eine travel Agency.

Super, tres calme avec une bonne ambiance les repas et les bieres sont au meme prix que dans les autres bar, et pour ceux qui logent sur place c'est 2$ us le petit deja vraiment pas cher. Et le personnel est super

Pour les frilleux il y a pas d'eau chaude mais bon c'est un point positif je trouve

Super hostal, d'autant plus pour le prix. Il est vraiment beau et le petit dej à 2dollars est simple mais vaut le coup. Il y a un billards, et juste y rester l'après midi est aussi sympa. C'est un super hostal bien placé d'où vous pouvez partir faire le cerro negro :)

Il manquerait peut-être des rideaux dans les dortoirs et je suis tombé malade avec les ventilo la nuit. J'ai pris un jus qui n'était pas exceptionnel.
