Very spacious room, large bed, nice bathroom and the owners were so lovely and would do anything to help!! Walking distance to some restaurants and bars

Mattress was a bit uncomfortable, but they were the same type of mattress you get everywhere in the Philippines, so inthink it is just a standard :) also a few ants, but it didn’t bother us

Lovely hosts - they even invited us to their birthday party which was very fun! Comfortable, clean and spacious room

Air con a bit noisy

Was able to rent a good bike which was necessary for getting around the island. The woman, who we think was the owner, was lovely and helpful. Overall was a decent stay for what we paid.

The bathroom window, although tinted, could easily be looked through at night when the light was on. We attempted to cover the window with our towels as we didn’t feel comfortable showering. We also had an infestation of ants in the room despite having no food at all in the room during our stay. The ants went into our bags as there was nowhere high up to put them and we found ants in the bed as well. We were able to deal with the ants ourselves and we always expect a few ants to be around the rooms in the Philippines but not to this extent especially when we didn’t eat anything in the room.

The beds were really comfortable and they had the best pillows we’ve had so far. Room was clean and AC worked well and wasn’t too loud. The hosts weren’t in your face at all and when we needed to make a call they helped us out. There were a couple pretty good restaurants nearby but you’ll need a motorbike to get most places which is fine cause everyone will tell you that to be on this island you need a bike to begin with anyways.

Definitely an ant problem so don’t leave anything on the ground. There are chairs and tables in the rooms so keep everything up there and there shouldn’t be an issue.

It’s a little bit of a walk away from the main Alona area but if you rent a scooter it’s not far at all

They let us check in earlier. It was really good to stay here because it is near some stores and properties. Safe at night. Nice staffs. Overall, will come back.

Everything was amazing here! The rooms were really clean and very comfortable. Free coffee everyday was really nice, the room had great air con and a fridge. Best of all the staff were super friendly!! They invited us to local celebrations, offered us food and drinks. Everyday they would say hello and check if we needed anything. Location was great for us, restaurants and shops in walking distance. You can rent a motorbike super easy too. Thank you again to this wonderful family! We will definitely stay again 😊

Close to everything and the staff is amazing. It's our second time here. Good value for money
