YHA Grinton Lodge

We loved our 2 night stay at Grinton lodge, a lovely clean kitchen, comfy sofas in the lounge, adequately clean toilets and showers. The bunk bed was really comfy, with nice quilts and pillows. Informative helpful and friendly staff. Great location for a walk into Reeth, an uphill walk back from Reeth which seemed easier after a couple of pints 😁

The kitchen was a little on the small side at peak times.

Cannot fault it. My friend and family say the same thing. Value for money.

Views at the location were lovely, staff were very friendly. Other campers were friendly, was a nice family atmosphere.

The only bad side was the cabin was damp - this was in the height of summer too. If it wasn't for that we'd have voted the whole stay much more highly.

Location. Picturesque location, ideal for walking. Short walk to village.

Lounge was sometimes a bit busy, but easy to find other seating areas in the hostel.
