The Place Astana Hostel

Super location - the best location in Astana, spacious room, basic Ikea furniture, very good rate like a hostel, canteen with local food on the ground of the building

Clean the bathroom is not perfect and requires improvement, but please keep in mind it is, a hostel with shared bathrooms (still good)

It was close to Bayterek, the symbol of Astana, and the view was great as the accommodation was on the 22nd floor. It was convenient as there were several shopping malls and supermarkets nearby, and there were many bus stops that could take you anywhere in the city.

There was always no staff at the accommodation. It came only briefly at check-in and then disappeared quickly. Because of this, he waited a long time when he checked in, despite contacting us in advance.

It’s centrally located. I took the airport bus to the hostel. The owner provided directions on how to reach the hostel

The location is perfect. Price/quality ratio is very good. Very decent option for a solo traveler.

Toilet paper is super cheap. This small detail made me feel so uncomfortable. Please spend 1 euro more and it will create a better impression.

No sign board and if you first time to check in if you enter the wrong lift for sure you cannot find the hostel.

The location and the view are amazing. The staff is helpful.

The bed can be more comfortable.

Well stocked hostel with an amazing 22nd floor view and ideal location above Dostyk St. The staff are genuine and helpful even if they don't speak perfect English. They didn't charge anything to use the washing machine which was very generous. Great canteen on the ground floor of the mall.

If you're looking for a sociable traveller's atmosphere, this may not be the place for you - by no fault of the hostel's many people come to Astana for work and stay in dorms. Cleaning was just adequate. No hooks in the bathroom.
