Beautiful garden, good food, kind staff, cool chillout areas

power went off a few times and when the fan was out the heat was unbearable but that’s no ones fault

Personnel sympa mais extrêmement bruyant. Ils font le ménage en même temps qu’on déjeune donc on reçoit plein de poussière. Je trouve l’établissement un peu surcoté, il n’a rien de special

- Ostello molto accogliente, pulito e ben organizzato. - La posizione è la migliore dell’isola infatti Balgue è semplicemente stupenda. - Lo staff è molto gentile e disponibile. - Il dormitorio è carino e ci sono i lockers. - C’è la cucina in comune, un po’ basica ma almeno c’è. - Si possono noleggiare scoorter a 15$ al giorno

- Potrebbe costare un pochino meno

Extremely accommodating and friendly staff, and the property was very clean and beautiful. It's close to the starting point of Maderas Volcano hike - you can do it without a guide too but we booked one from La Urraca Loca, and I really enjoyed our hike. Renting a scooter was really easy with them and everything went well, I also got excellent instructions about the ferry and bus schedules and everything else I needed during my stay. Bonus points also for being able to pay with Revolut with no extra fees!

Quite hot during the night even with fans (which is likely the case for most accommodations in the area, AC does not seem to be a thing around here) - the air was somehow hotter inside than it was outside during the night. The upper bunks in dorms have zero privacy as only bottom beds have curtains. However, the bottom bed became available after my first night and the staff was nice enough to let me switch there :)

Sehr gut gelegen, alles ist sauber und das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Man kann einen scooter vor Ort spontan buchen. Außerdem sind in der nähe genug Restaurants fußläufig zu erreichen, sowie ein kleiner Supermarkt. Es liegt in der Natur, also sollte man beachten, dass Insekten vor allem nachts unterwegs sind. Probiert unbedingt das selbstgemachte Bananenbrot!

We had a very enjoyable stay at the hostel. Staff was super friendly and helpful, delicious food and beautiful garden. Since the hostel is surrounded by nature there are quite some insects around but we didnt mind them.

Some activities to meet other guests would be nice!

Beautiful hostel in the Balque area, good mix of social and chill, clean, nice areas to chill in the garden and hammocks, lovely local staff, close to everything. Loved the banana bread!

The female owner was unpleasant, she seemed annoyed whenever asked any questions and quite selective about who she was helpful/nice to, sadly this ruined the vibe a bit. The local staff made up for this though, they were lovely. The bed curtains could have been longer and around the whole bed as it didn't really provide much privacy.
