All because I sat on a bed that was on the way to the balcony waiting for the rain to stop, I got my eyeglasses and their leather case thrown out. The manager who threw them said that if a guest saw that someone sat on the bed, s/he would think it unclean. To throw the glasses was his way to take revenge on me. When I demanded his apology, he repeatedly refused. Finally after a shouting match with the manager, I left the place in a hurry, but when I forget my towel and came back, the landlady shouted at me for coming back and told me to leave. The real reason for their hatred is because they saw me pray the Muslim prayer and their racism kicked in. As they first saw me pray, their attitude completely changed. They mocked me and derided me and laughed out loud in their Chinese. If you are a practicing Muslim, stay away from this place. The manager and his conceited landlady ARE unabashedly and openly racist. Also, there are roaches inside the kitchen cabinet. When I mentioned it earlier to him, he didn't move a muscle and suggested that I swat it--with my bare hand. This speaks volumes about their complacent attitude to the roach problem in their hostel.

Uncleanliness, derisive looks, unprofessionalism, racism, hypocrisy, asking me to lie about my booking and mark it as no show so that they wouldn't pay booking.com....
