The place is nice, beds comfortable, clean, staff friendly and good price.

Comfortable and spacious bed, good location. Not the best beach in Canngu but it’s ok.

The rooms were lovely, the staff were very friendly and made sure you felt welcome and included, very interactive and would make us feel at home, did a surf class booked through the hostel with ray teaching us, was the best experience and had the best time, would definitely recommend to stay here :)

I came to Canggu thinking I’d stay just two nights and then continue my travels, but I ended up staying for a full week because I simply couldn’t leave – the vibes were just something else. Every night, a group of local surfers gathered around the pool to play guitar and sing, creating a truly magical atmosphere. It was such a beautiful way to connect with others and build a sense of community among the guests. The hostel itself was clean, comfortable, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The location was also perfect – plenty of great places to eat nearby, and the beach was just a short walk away. I really hope I can come back before heading home – and maybe even take a few surfing lessons from the boys! I highly recommend Dip & Doze – they truly made my trip unforgettable.

There was some construction going on and it got a bit loud around noon, but it didn’t really bother me as I was usually out and about at that time anyway :)

The people who work there are so nice and friendly. All of them.. The hostel overall is clean, kitchen, toilet and rooms. But there are some issues that I should point out:

During my whole stay there the second floor of the building was under renovation and some huge noise started early in the morning till late in the afternoon. It was annoying to listen to hammers and other tools all the time. When I check in they made me sign a piece of paper saying I would not be refounded for any reason. Since I had carefully read all the reviews online I did not expect to have that construction problem. I think they should temporarely close the property to carry on such renovation, specially because it can be dangerous for the guests. While I was there a piece of the ceiling in the man's toilet came down. It could have hurt someone. Plus some rooms have a strong smell of mold. They changed me to a another room after two nights following my request.

Staff are very friendly and can recall key guest details to assist with checking in or laundry. Regular staff meetings are held keeping everyone informed Hostel events are clearly posted and fun to attend.
