"Tourist trap / impossible to checkout without to pay"

Room

Danger They locked the door to force me to pay 10usd. The reason ? I checkout the same day as my checkin. This "rules" like they said is not written anywhere. Is just a tourist trap.

"its ok for a cuple of days"

nice staff they will help you with any question. Hostal is direct in the center of cuenca, close to everything.

not a lot of warm water to shower. the hostel is very noisy. children play in the morning. very cold because it is always draughty. bed was also very noisy.

perfect location, incredible staff, an amazing vibe and one of the best value for money. my stay was great at this hostel.

not enough bathrooms especially in the morning and water is not really warm

The location was great

They crammed everyone into one dorm rather than using the empty dorms that were available. I was shoved in a dorm with 5 males when the two dorms next door were both empty. I don’t mind mixed dorms but it didn’t make sense to me! I would have thought it would be better to make people feel comfortable?!?!?
