Motala Verkstads Värdshus uppfördes 1828 för att ge mat och husrum åt yngre tjänstemän och elever vid Motala Verkstad, som grundades av Baltzar von Platen år 1822. Bara det var värt en historisk övernattning. Duktiga tvenne entreprenörer som driver stället. Gott och enkelt frukostbord med ett flertal kaffevarianter att välja på. Lugn och behaglig miljö.
