Zostel Munnar

This is a vibrant and a happening place, lacks a place where one can sit in silence, accommodates so many people , so gets quite chatty. Good place for networking, definitely not for introvert solo travellers. Stays in the city easily accessible! Wifi is good. Eating options are good and quite in budget. If you are looking to get away to meet new people, this is the place, but if you are looking for a get away for some serene place, this might not be the place

Too much crowd!

My shower was broken, the overhead shower head didn't work and there was no hot water. More importantly, Zostel didn't seem to have a process for international travellers who had booked through booking.com to make prepayment, resulting in a number of phone calls and email communications with staff, which was quite frustrating.

View from the Zostel is amazing. They organize activities as well. Working area near common space is great.

Daily twice washroom cleaning would be better. Also, one dorm room had 8 girls with only 1 washroom.

Great socialable place to stay, lots of like-minded travellers. Great views. Restaurant seemed like it might be good for dinner. Helpful at checkin. Could leave bags and sort out things from here as a base.

Water had ran out and didn't seem anything quick was going to fix it. So no shower or toilet facilities or anyone to say sorry about that. Understand it has just reopened but seemed a little chaotic. In shared dorm room which wasn't cheap other people playing loud music on phones from 7am.

Nice place to stay

Nice place to meet new people, and the rooftop is awesome :) the restaurant was ok ! They do organize few activities, but not that much sadly

Bathroom was not that clean, my room was next to the kitchen so it can be smelly (and difficult to breathe in the corridor). Quite far from Munnar (15-20mn with a tuktuk for ~250 ruppies), so you may miss most of the culture and life there :( but for some people it may be ok, depending on what you want.

Morning breakfast with the cool breeze of the Munnar hills and after a day of wandering, the final chat of dinner, bonfire, guitar and song, night walk on that steep path in the quiet, bright night. Simply as a solo traveler, you can enjoy a lot. #Sukoon☮️_is_there.✌🏻

Wonderful location and a great property. Spent 4-5 days on a workation here. The hosts at the property were very warm and friendly, especially Irshad, Tapas and Rito. Had an amazing time staying here and would love to visit again, either on a workation or just to spend some time in Munnar
