"A truly special place to stay"

What a truly special place to stay. This beautiful heritage-listed home is full of charm and character, and its location is perfect, right in the heart of town, making everything so easy to access. Breakfast was a real highlight. There was a wonderful selection of goodies, along with tea, coffee, and delicious plunger coffee. A special mention to Zara’s husband for the absolutely delicious homemade plum jam, it was such a treat! The room was spacious, the bed incredibly comfortable, and the entire house had a warm, welcoming, and safe feel. It genuinely felt like a home away from home. Zara is an exceptional host who clearly pours her heart into the experience. She is kind, generous, and incredibly helpful, making our stay all the more memorable. We would absolutely love to stay again and highly recommend this beautiful place to anyone visiting the area. 🩷

"Best hostel in Nelson"

I loved the people, everyone was genuinely kind and helpful. The house is quirky in a good way, I loved the design of the bathroom like little alcoves. And it was so nice having a personal bed (as in, no bunks).

It’s up a fair bit amount of stairs- but that’s not too bad.
