Favela Hostel

Very nice and friendly host.

The place was like the pictures and the lady on the front desk was lovely, everything good. Very good and clean place, the shower was amazing hot and the bathroom warm

If you are a non smoker the smell outside the room can bother you a little (it seems that smoking inside is something common in Croatia), but inside the rooms was ok, no smell at all.

Stuff was the best

Our stay was very peaceful and quiet, ideal for relaxation. The hostel has a good number of rooms (7, if we remember correctly), which helps maintain a calm atmosphere. The cleanliness was great – every room and common area was spotless, and the owners made sure to clean regularly. Hostel is well-equipped, with both the small kitchen and bathrooms providing everything we needed. There was always enough toilet paper, soap, a hairdryer, cleaning supplies, and kitchenware. The heating system worked excellently, keeping the room warm and comfortable throughout our stay (December). The room size was good for two people, with plenty of space to store our belongings, including room for bags, a nightstand, and more. The location is fantastic, well-connected to the center of Zagreb, making it easy to explore the city. Additionally, the price-to-quality ratio during the Advent season in Zagreb was great!

The only downside was that the pillows weren’t the most comfortable, but this was a minor issue and didn’t affect our overall experience, maybe just the resting time. It could be improved. :)
