Super cool place with friendly staff. Nice place to chill. Room was good and the awesome breakfast was a bonus. Good value for money. Highly recommend. Cheers!

I loved to stay here. felt like a home for a short period of time. The host is very caring, good friend. Definitely recommended for whoever decides to stay in Bentota.

Breakfast was very good and for the price I paid with my discounts, would have presented a good value in itself despite location 2km from beaches and waterfronts; Hamesh has a sweet family and nice doggoes, cute turtles in the mangroves (?); design of the place is hand-done with nice touches. Was able to use bikes for no cost, which provides fun and more value, and Hamesh was kind enough to take me to the bus stop to try to make up for some of the down sides....

Hamesh was drunk when he rolled in with three male friends and another guest (female); later she told me of her very uncomfortable evening. I was told breakfast was 9:30-10 and I booked a single room but around 6:45a was awoken by Hamesh saying another guest needed to come into the room; I had borrowed a bike the night before and got caught in a massive storm so didn't get back until late and had been assured the door locked (as there were a bunch of mosquitoes); after I said I booked a single room, Hamesh unlocked the door anyway when I was half dressed to try to force the guest into the room! Later Hamesh said I booked a cave (there are three), but I booked the single room and anyways it is not clear on the site when you are booking the MRI-like "cave." ...If he had recognized that a few of his actions were messed up, copped to it and took full responsibility, that would've been one thing; but he said a couple times, once after asking that I not write a negative review, unprompted, that he didn't do anything wrong; this, as I told him, is part of the problem. That and he had no memory of the night before. Would be a nice place if he lays off the booze and grows up a bit. Sorry Hamesh.

The place was super quiet, the vibes there, the dogs they have, everything is great. The rooms were super clean and very original, truly one of the best places I have ever stayed. We had an amazing coconut rice pudding for breakfast and they were always looking out for us, sharing good times, stories, food. I would definitely recommend it to everyone and it is clear to me that if I go back to Sri Lanka, I will go to Chill Nasa.

Himesh is very accommodating. feel at home and looked after. gos above and beyond for all the guests. Treats everyone like family, cooks for us. goes on trips with guests. very different from other spots ;)

This place is a hidden gem. Amazing hut and facilities. Really friendly and kind host specially Pati. They were kind enough and offered me some dinner, breakfast and drove me to the station for free. Super value for money!!!
