KGB Home Hostel

The place is big with a lot of beds and people. There's a community kitchen and some space to sit outside. The room was small but enough for one night. It seemed to be clean.

For me, there were too many people (I didn't realize that when I booked). To go to our room we had to pass one room with a bunch of beds inside. There were only 2 toilets.

Это один из самых (если не САМЫЙ) недорогой хостел в Бишкеке. Это надо иметь в виду. Но при этом все есть: горячая вода, кухня. И при этом внутри очень приятная атмосфера. Много иностранных путешественников. Чистые помещения. Хостел удобно расположен.

Taking into account the price i was perfect. Do not expect luxury. It is a humble House with very nice staff

There was just one small issue during my stay. When I used the only shower and toilet room with a lock, the water was very cold—like melted snow. When I asked the manager (who was very kind and helpful), she explained that the water heater in that room wasn’t working well, and recommended using the shower next to the kitchen instead, where hot water is available. However, that shower room doesn’t have a lock. If having a private, lockable shower is important to you—especially for solo female travelers—you may want to keep this in mind when booking. Other than that, everything else was great and the staff were truly lovely!
