Canmore Downtown Hostel

Excellent emplacement. Chambres agréables avec cuisine partagée très pratique.

The facility and staff was pretty good. They did a good effort to ensure cleanliness and comfort which is very difficult when so many people are using the same facilities

My bed privacy curtains didn't reach all the way to the bottom of the bed frame and I was in top bunk so if people looked up in the gap they could see me. I wasn't a fan of some of the not so mindful customers who were talking loudly and coughing during quiet periods. I think that staff shouldnt allow people who are sick on the property as it spreads sickness quickly. I also wasn't given a tour or show around of the facilities so it took me a bit to get used to the environment as it was my first time at a hostel ever. Personally I don't think hostels are for me but for what it was it was pretty good.

The location is great with many food options nearby. The private bathroom makes it more like a hotel room to us.

The air conditioner was sometimes hot and sometimes too cold.

Great place, clean, chilled out, friendly helpful staff. Recommended for sure.
