PARTY HOSTEL - The Canmore Hotel Hostel

ロケーションが抜群。周囲に飲食店やお土産屋、グロサリーストアなどあり、徒歩で街の見学や買い物が出来ます。プライベートパスルーム付きの個室に泊まりましたが、他の宿泊施設と比べ、相対的に料金を抑えて泊まる事ができました。寝室にテレビや冷蔵庫、クローゼットなどあり便利です。 スタッフも親切、チェックイン・チェックアウトはシンプル、事前の案内もメールで定期的に入り安心感。 建物は古い感じがしましたが、ホステルなので、ホテルのような期待をしなければ問題ありません。この時期のバンフやキャンモアの宿泊料は高いですから、それを考えればお得感があります。

下にパブがあるので、大きい音量のライブが聞こえてくる事がありましたが、事前に説明されていたので驚きはありませんでした。寝る頃には静かになっています。ただ早く寝る人や音に敏感な人は留意した方が良いですね。 備え付けの駐車場はスペースが限られており使えませんでしたが、すぐ近くの公共駐車場が8pm-8amに無料で利用でき、私たちはこの時間帯でパーキングの利用が問題なかったので、不便はなかったです。

We stayed at the dorm and rented private room #6. Room #6 is adjacent to a bar/club so you will experience noise at night (esspecially on Friday and Saturday nights). But it also right beside the kitchen so you will hear people cooking and having conversations, as there's no other place to socialize except for kitchen unfortunately, so be prepared to use ear plugs if you're a light sleeper like me. Size of the room is very small too. Barely space to lay open your luggage bags. But it's conveniently located right beside female washroom. Both dorm and private rooms have lockers. Private rooms also have smaaaaaal fan, heater, TV, head lamp, microwave, and relative big fridge. Hostel has 2 big fridges, all the utensils and cookware that you need for cooking. They also have water filters - which means you can drink their tap water. Shower always have body wash, shampoo and hair conditioner. They also provide you with towels. Location: extremely beautiful, surrounded by mountains and right in the heart of the Canmore.

The location of this hostel is excellent and makes it easy to explore the area.

The hostel is located on the second floor and access is via a long flight of stairs, which can be challenging if you’re traveling with heavy luggage. Before going upstairs, guests are required to change into the hostel’s slippers. If you book a private room, you may bring your shoes to your room, but dorm guests must leave their shoes in the designated locker area. The rooms are quite small, with limited floor space—opening two large suitcases at the same time would be difficult. While there are plenty of shared bathrooms, privacy is minimal due to the gaps in the cubicle doors, and there is only one long mirror available. The shower stalls are also very compact, with no hooks for hanging clothes and little to no space for toiletries. Parking is another consideration, as there are only a few spaces available.

Room was good. Twin duvet was enough for summer time.
