Buccaneers Beach Lodge, Chintsa, South Africa

This place is paradise! The heart of the lodge is the breakfast/bar area with its unique panoramic view of the bay. The atmosphere is very cosy and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious and the atmosphere in the bar in the evening was chilled. The owners, Sean and Sal, make you feel at home and are always available for a chat. All the staff are super friendly. Our room had a small terrace overlooking the beach. At night, we could leave the door open and fall asleep to the sound of the sea. A very special place.

The area is beautiful and the view from our cottage was stunning. Food was great and the staff were extremely helpful! We had a flat tyre when we left and would have had to call a tow truck if it was not for the owner’s assistance. Laundry service was a great help.

It’s a bit of a trek to the beach but the route is very pretty so we did not mind at all.

Beautiful View from the Room, near long stretches of beach. Friendly hosts, Good food. Loved the Art Vibe. Enough opportunities to take part in many activities and community engagement projects.

This is a stunning sea facing lodge with great food, affordable drinks and exceptional staff. There's so much to do. I wish I had stayed longer.

Die Anlage ist weitläufig mit wunderbarem Blick auf die Küste. Man hat in seinem Domizil Ruhe, kann auf der Terrasse die Aussicht geniessen und Wildtiere beobachten in einem sehr schön angelegten Garten. Das Restaurant das weiter oben auf dem Hang liegt erlaubt einen noch besseren Blick in die Weite auf das Meer. Die Speisenauswahl und Personal waren toll.
