WARNING: DO NOT STAY HERE I was refused upon check in! First he asked me for my passport, i gave him my NIC as i have a srilankan local ID. He said that he can only check people in with a passport not with a ID card. Then he said that locals where not allowed. I am adopted so i grew up in Belgium, so i show him my Belgium ID and passport and then he refused me and told me to go find an other place without an explenation! Very bad service there! I dont even know why they refused me! Iam a tourist! I book the room, i pay for the room... so what is the problem! DO NOT STAY HERE! Many other good places around!

Davy (the man working) was wonderful, he was kind and very helpful. He was quick to help with any requests. The rooms were basic, but clean. Lots of mini ants around, though I haven’t found a place yet without.

Die Badezimmer waren sehr Sauber. Wir hatten auch einen Parkplatz in der Tiefgarage für das Auto. In der Nähe gibt es auch gute Restaurants.

Leider konnte man die Klimaanlage nicht einstellen. Am Abend wurde es bisschen Kalt. Ansonsten alles Top

Vibe Hostel is located in a nice neighborhood, close to many places to visit, shopping mall and there is few Chinese restaurants around. The room was nice and spacious and it was clean, the kitchen upstairs is truly beautiful, plenty of space to seat and eat there. We did our check-in very early in the morning so that was very convenient for us, and we really appreciate that!

Everything was very good including the host. Very good location and top notch cleanliness.

There was no television and electric kettle. Maybe I did not look closely at the description.

Comfy and clean, located in center but still lowkey enough that it’s quite quiet, very friendly host. I was here for work and felt very comfortable. The room was spacious and comfy. I left my suitcase there for a couple of days early and a bit after checking out (for less than 2$), the host was very helpful . The room has a lot of closet spaces for clothes and hangers.

Just make sure you bring your own toiletries, and water will be charged. Also beware of mosquitoes. There’s not table inside fyi if anyone is looking to work inside the room, but outside there was a dining area with big tables

I really enjoyed my stay at VIBE Hostels. The rooms are very clean and modern, and they have air conditioning. While the area is very safe, there is also 24 hour security sitting outside of the building. You can do your laundry on site for a fee. It doesn't have the energy of a hostel; it is more like a hotel in that regard. During my stay there, there weren't many other travelers. The travelers who were there were very quiet and courteous. It's about an 8 minute walk to get to Liberty Plaza. I would highly recommend staying here if you will visit Colombo. You can visit with a family or solo. The hostel is not wheelchair accessible or ADA-compliant, so if you have limited mobility, it's not the place for you.
