Absolutely breath taking, it was beautiful beyond measure!! An amazing view!!

I had an unforgettable stay at this charming hostel in Framura, a peaceful village on the Ligurian coast. The location is ideal—quiet, non-touristy, and with great local restaurants offering delicious food. Framura is well connected to Cinque Terre, making it a perfect base for exploring the region. The hostel is perched high on a hill, providing a breathtaking view of the village and the sea. It's incredibly peaceful—we slept with the windows open, hearing nothing but the soothing sounds of cicadas and the ocean. The hostel itself is small and cozy, with two dorm rooms (one with two bunk beds, the other with three), and a shared bathroom that never had long waits. The communal area downstairs is where guests gather, fostering a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The size of the hostel made the experience feel very personal and familiar, and I loved connecting with travelers of all ages and from different countries, many of whom were there to hike Cinque Terre. Sonia, who manages the hostel for the commune, was fantastic. She cleaned daily, keeping the hostel in great shape, and was always warm, friendly, and helpful. Communication before arrival was excellent, with detailed instructions on how to reach the hostel, including the shuttle bus schedule from the train station. Overall, this was one of my top hostel experiences. The stunning views, tranquility, and sense of community made it a truly special stay. I left Framura feeling refreshed and would gladly return!

While I greatly enjoyed my stay at the hostel in Framura, there were a few areas that could be improved. The bathroom had some issues—specifically, the shower door didn’t close properly at the bottom, which caused water to leak out and form large puddles on the floor. This left the bath mat soaking wet, especially when guests didn’t pay attention to fully close the door. Also, there was no toilet seat, which I understand is common in Italy, but there were no disposable seat covers provided during my stay. I stayed in the room with three bunk beds, and it felt a bit cramped. Reducing the number of beds would make the space feel more comfortable. The furniture is functional but a bit outdated; an upgrade could enhance the overall experience. That said, for a short stay, it was sufficient since most guests spend their time exploring the beautiful surroundings rather than hanging out at the hostel.

Staff was super nice and the atmosphere was great. Ostello is on the top of the city and you can see the moon reflected in the sea. Truly amazing. People staying there was super friendly as well and we enjoyed great afternoon talks.
