World Hostel - Old Town

The hostel is cozy inside, and the bed was decent. However, the ladder to the top bunk is very uncomfortable, and there is no shelf by the bed for personal belongings. Each room has lockers with automatic locks, which seemed secure enough — at least nothing was stolen during my stay. The self-check-in instructions were very detailed and easy to follow. The hostel provides plenty of information, so you won't get lost and will have no trouble finding your room and bed.

The downsides: the room door is extremely noisy, and the lockers are even noisier. But as is often the case with hostels, the biggest problem is not the hostel itself but some of the guests. Sharing a dorm with both men and women makes little sense to me. A group of guys came in around midnight, talking loudly and turning on the lights without any consideration for others. Later, someone snored so loudly that it was impossible to sleep. To top it all off, the toilet was left in a disgusting condition. Another major drawback is that there are no shared bathrooms on the floor. Instead, there is only one bathroom inside a six-person dorm room, meaning everyone has to compete for access to basic facilities. In many other hostels, shared bathrooms are available on each floor and cleaned more than once a day, which works much better. As I mentioned, the biggest issue with hostels is often the people you end up sharing the space with, and unfortunately, I was not lucky in that regard. Overall, I would not recommend this hostel because of the extremely noisy lockers and doors that you will hear throughout the night.

everything was amazing (for hostel in the old building in the touristic centre) - extremely clean, never saw such a sparkling clean hostel! Comfy beds and pillows, new white good quality bed linen, complimentary towel and breakfast (coffee, tea, sausages, cheese, salami, bread, butter, spreads, Nutella and cereals with milk) Very friendly and warm staff! Amazing terrace overlooking the canal with ducks) Guys, I will be back and recommend you to all my friends!)

It’s not a complaint, just a small wish - please add privacy curtains and small shelf for each bunk. It will make our lives even better!

The place is clean, vintage decorations but not old fashion boring, a small stream by the balcony, breakfast was nice, close to most objectives in the city center. Strongly recommend for short city breaks and more! 🙏🍾❤️🛳️🌐🧳
