Location

Surprised to find that they only accepted cash. Was not a problem for me as ATM in the store was available. I surprised Booking.com does business with cash only properties.

Everything was great - very quiet as out of season (Feb). Cost-wise a tad expensive I thought on booking (most expensive accommodation I booked but needed to be near ferry for early crossing), as not en-suite but a comfy bed, cosy warm room, hot shower, convenience and ability to leave my bag all day after checking out made it feel pretty reasonable in the end.

I think my experience might have been different in booked in the summer.

Close to The station and old port

The lounge was a little 70’s but perfectly functional!
