The Hostel

The beds were clean and comfortable and toilets were very good. The owner was very very friendly. Nice and helpful.

Location. Enough privacy but close to the beach and bus stand

I saw a huge cockroach in the female bathroom. It was a bit dirty in the bathroom. The hostel in general had no atmosphere. There were also no one there except one other girl in the whole hostel. But it it also in general very quiet everywhere in Sri Lanka now.

the cleanness and the environment. The wifi is stable. You will have curtain, lamp, charge socket on each dorm. The sheets are definitely washed after check-out. It's close the the port, where whale watching tour is. You can walk to the port in the early morning. They provide a kitchen, so you can reheat any food you bring back from a restaurant.

Comfortable room and bed. Nice location.

It would be nice to be able to control the AC ourselves, it was quite cold during the night. I feel like it would also allow to save some electricity.

The location of the property. Especially since Mirissa is a small beach town you can walk to everywhere. The property was clean and well maintained too.

They don’t suggest/ organise any activities. I had to connect with travellers from other hostels to find out about parties and activities
