The Hostel

The staf is really friendly and helpful. They will help you with anything. The place is really clean as well. They have filtered water, free of charge. Most hostels I’ve stayed in in Sri Lanka didn’t offer any filtered water. The location is ideal, it’s only a 3 minute walk to the busstop and the main road with all the shops and restaurants. The beach is not even a 10 minute walk. There is also a kitchen and fridge which guests can make use of. I planned to stay here a few days, but ended up staying for two weeks.

beds can be more comfortable, no proper blanket, no 24x7 AC, no attached bathroom

Clean, 5 mins walk from the beach, great bathrooms, curtains on dorm rooms

Not very sociable but probably as wasn’t very busy
