the Location is great! you wake up and you're at the beach, that's so lovely. there are hammoks and chill places to sit. you cannot really cook in the kitchen but you can boil some water and there's a fridge. the staff is friendly and tony the surfer will help you with anything.

I stayed at Sea Sand Beach Hostel twice, each time for three nights — once when I arrived in Sri Lanka and again before leaving. It’s very clean and feels just like home. The location is perfect, with a sea view and lots of restaurants around. The manager is super friendly and helpful. I’d definitely come back!

Yohan, the manager was my favourite part of this hostel. Even though it was quiet time of year, he regaled us with tales of the hostel and was available if we needed something. He was flexible with room arrangements. The staff gave us New Years breakfast. Its got a great view of the beach and very close to everything. I wish id started my journey here.

This is out of their control. Only noting it for those sensitive to noise. Bring earplugs cos theres a cheapo club next door that plays music quite late. i think you only hear it if you're in the room near the beach, but then u have fan on all night which provides some white noise.
