La cucina in comune ha solo un frigo e un microonde, non ci sono fuochi né pentole, per cui non è possibile cucinare.

The area was clean, the staff were good, communication was good, and they were always there to help.

Basic items like shampoo or soap were missing from the washroom. I think they should keep these, as not everyone travels with them for a one- or two-day trip. Also, the main area should have a stove so we can cook something, as the restaurant closes after 4 p.m.

I had a very pleasant stay at Oivanki. The accomodation was located in a very spacious and calm area, on the edge of a lake. From the back terrace I saw some reindeer grazing. The room was basic, and I had to put the sheets on the bed myself, but that didn't bother me at all. I can imagine it can get quite busy here when groups of school children come to visit, but as it was, I was one of only two guests in the building at the moment, and everything was very quiet. Breakfast was served in the main building and included some rice porridge, a selection of cereals and muesli and some bread and salad. Just what I needed. The restaurant was closed on saturday, so if you're planning to prepare something yourself, it's best to stock up in Kuusamo before you come here. There are no shops or restaurants in the immediate vicinity.
