Reserva Guadalajara - Authentic farm in Cocora Valley

If you want a peaceful quiet spot, This is the place to be. Set away from the road, you hear nothing but a small waterfall and the birds. It's a small hotel- finca with very personalized service you will receive from the owner and staff. The location is perfect right in between Salento and the Cocora parks. Diego the owner will help with any activities including horseback riding. It was such a nice stay we didn't want to leave. I highly recommend this beautiful spot and we will return.

We liked everything

A beautiful 3 generation finca in a gorgeous valley location with a river just across the street and a stream behind the house. Off the main road io Cócora so easy to get a passing by Jeep. Or walk to nearby restaurants. Incredibly warm staff but not invasive. Delicious breakfast including fresh milk, butter and eggs from the farm as well as fresh arepas, beans and tropical fruit. Coffee and water always available. Quiet relaxing atmosphere- incredibly peaceful. They provide rubber boots for walks nearby. Helped us with organizing activities and transport. Really top! Nice hot shower as well. You can request lunch and dinner ahead of time. Comfortable bed.

We wanted twin beds because we are not a couple. This is hard to find in the region in general, so we were lucky to get one here. But there was only one available between the terrace and courtyard so the window and door opened to common areas this made it a little loud at times. That being said it is my only slight criticism. I still 100% recommend this place. Especially if you don’t mind sharing a bed as those rooms are perhaps a more quiet.

Beautiful country house and wonderful location. Diego and the staff were amazing! I will stay stay here again!

Family owned and operated, this place felt authentic Colombia. It is set back off the main Cocora Valley road which adds to the peaceful ambiance. The owner went out of his way to help me receive a package.
