Hostal Bosque de Niebla

The lovely owner, it was like staying at my nan’s. She did our washing for cheap, she sewed up my trousers for free, she gave me a coffee in the morning and we could extend our stay at short notice. She was amazing.

They were both lovley

A very clean and comfortable place for a couple visiting Salento! It is more of a hotel with one central common room than a hostal. The woman who runs the place is super kind and helpful. It was the perfect distance from the center for us (about 5 minutes) to be away from the noise and traffic. We would definitely stay here again.

Booked this place here as "4-bed room with breakfast available, to pay in hostel". Arrived, got a 6-bed room and breakfast also wasn't available. Kitchen not able to be used and only one shared toilet/bath.. I was quite pissed for the false statements and left the next day. They wouldn't let me leave the same day without some costs...

The house is in a great location, really easy to get to from the bus station. The hostel is really cosy and quiet which is appreciated for early morning hikes. Wifi is also strong.

There was only one bathroom for a dorm of 5 people.

Nothing.

The experience was ruined by the fact that they didn't respect the price we got from booking.com There was an old lady that clearly didn't enjoy the job and said that the price was different because of high season. It was totally worthless to discuss. They don't even accept credit card payments, I've seen many people complaining about the same. They just lure you with booking and then charge you whatever. Completely unacceptable! I believe this place should be banned from booking

Very good hostel. Clean sheets and towels nice lady that helps with laundry. Very good shower in comper to the other Colombian showers.
