Youth Hostel Beaufort

The hostel is located in a peaceful area surrounded with nature. Nearby there is also a beautiful castle you can reach within 10 walking minutes. The kids can play on the playground and go on a discovery tour in the nature. Inside the hostel there is also a big play room. Campers + cars can also use the spacious parking lot. For those who come by bus: the bus station is only a few walking minutes away. The dorms have comfortable beds and a wardrobe + mirror you can put your things in. The toilet and bathroom with a shower are within the rooms, but separated. Soap is not provided. Breakfast is included in the price. It offers a variety of bread, cheese, ham, cereals, jam, juice, tea and coffee. The possibility to have lunch and snacks there is also provided, but it costs extra. The staff is very friendly.

The windows can be only partly opened, you have to pay if you want to be able to open it fully. So it could be too warm and stuffy during summer time. The wi-fi connection didn't work in the rooms. You need to go to the reception area to connect.

Quiet place.

Towels are not provided, you have to rent it. Soap and shampoo also not provided, you have to pay for it. Bed was not set up, the linens are provided but you have to put it on.

A quiet location, with large free parking. Spacious rooms with 4 beds, friendly staff, reasonable breakfast, restaurant and vending machines with coolers. Comfortable and pleasant at a low cost.

Someone was snoring in the room (besides me). But of course, this is not the host's fault. :l

I arrived quite late due to delays on the trains but the staff were very helpful and friendly. The facilities are very clean and comfortable.

The hostel is quite far from Luxembourg City and the buses that connect to the trains come every 30-60 minutes. The location is an advantage though for those who want to visit towns in north and east of Luxembourg or would like to go hiking in the Müllerthal.
