Casa Conduru

I loved how the place was all wood & that once you entered everyone has to remove their shoes. It felt like an outdoor space whilst also being inside so you really felt like you were surrounded by nature constantly. I also loved the shape of the space.

Nothing could be improved ! It was my favourite hostel of my whole trip. It’s a more quiet hostel and quit a few people were working there so if you’re looking for people to party with, it’s not the spot. It’s also slightly out of the main strip area but close to the beach where samba happens so I found the location ideal as it was quiet but accessible but if you want to be in the thick of it perhaps the main strip is preferable. Only a 8 minute walk or less to the main strip!

There is no place to sit without mosquitos

Wow what a place, especially the volunteers are absolutely amazing. They are so helpful and kind with everything. The casa is exactly like on the pictures, it is like a sweet small cozy home. We really enjoyed hanging out in the communal areas. We had the single beds upstairs and i slept like a baby every night. It didnt get too hot at night, but make sure to ALWAYS use your mosquito spray, cause the mosquitos like to bite in Itacare :) Wifi worked absolutely perfect for us! The location is also super central and very safe and close to anywhere :) Itacare is anyways like a small village, so it really does not matter which corner you pick to stay, but this corner was a beautiful one :)

Every communal area was cleaned everyday, but perhaps it would be good to get some new utensils for the kitchen or introduce also daytime cleaning :)

The location was good, about 10 minute walk into the centre of town and 10 minutes further to Tiririca as the main surf beach. The facilities were clean and staff were friendly, if a little reserved

The hostel has a no noise policy after 9pm, meaning it's quiet but less sociable than other hostels. Felt like more of a yoga retreat than a surf hostel. There are a lot of mosquitos and the main dormitory does not have mosquito nets, so we got bitten a lot. The floor in the main dormitory is also very loud when you walk on it!

I really loved my stay at casa conduru and would love to come back. i actually extended my stay there because i loved it so much! the volunteers were so helpful, the kitchen and bathrooms were always clean, there was enough room to store everyones belongings. very relaxed and a wonderful place to escape to. thank you!

Beautiful location (hidden in the corner of the jungle). It is so lovely to wake up and see pure nature through the window. The volunteers were simply amazing they ended up being my good friends by the end. Good wifi with lots of space to work, social so you can meet people easily but not a wild party hostel either

I stayed over one month and it was one of my favourite hostels ever. Everything was outstanding, the hostel is really beatiful, the garden lush, and the volunteers and owner are just the best people. The kitchen is big enough to accomodate everyone. The area is super quiet and you can wake up hearing (and seeing) birds and monkeys every day.

Could use a couple of fans on the ground floor!
