Khaosok jungle hostel Branch 1

Staff so helpful. Very clean, comfortable beds, towels even got replaced without asking! Even with 12 beds it didn’t feel noisy or annoying. The air con units were quiet and worked well for the room. The breakfast is a great touch, very tasty.

The common area felt more of a waiting room at a doctors rather than a comfortable place to be. But it’s just because the hostel is small, and the affordable price makes up for this. Maybe we were allowed to use the common areas of the other jungle hostel branch 1 but we were never told this so we weren’t sure!

Enough bathrooms for everyone, you don’t need to wait. Location is great! Lots of tours offered! The receptionist Nick is amazing. Only because of him I would say 10 /10. Breakfast is included! All people in a room were nice and quiet!

The music in the cafe across the street is too loud.

I had made a special request that could not be fulfilled, but when I arrived, the staff already had a solution ready for me. • They proactively arranged an alternative by sending me to their Jungle 2 hostel, making the whole situation smooth and stress free. • I felt genuinely taken care of, even though my original request could not be honored.

Great location. Nice staff. Can book activities at reception. Curtains on beds. Lots of bathroom space. Free water.

Very hard beds.

J’ai été upgradée dans l’hostel d’en face (Jungle Hostel 2) qui était nettement plus qualitatif. Les lits étaient grands et confortable, les salles de bain relativement propre et il y avait l’air co !

Le personnel était exécrable. Ils n’ont pas voulu que je laisse mes affaires le temps de l’excursion parce que je ne l’avais pas booké avec eux (mais j’avais pourtant booker la nuit d’après avec eux également !) . J’ai du prendre mon bus à 6h30 du matin, j’ai demandé la veille à avoir un petit déjeuner à emporter (qui est normalement compris). On m’a dit oui, qqun viendra pour 6h, je ne vous fais pas un dessin…. Je suis partie sans rien !!
