Clean, comfortable, well equipped. Easy check in/ out. Staff very responsive on messages and very helpful when I accidentally left belongings behind in the room.

Easy booking, simple entry system. Great location, just 5 minute walk to supermarkets. Quiet and comfortable. I stayed whilst visiting for work. Was my only available option and was a pleasant surprise

Could do with drinking receptacles, minor drawback. I am not a backpacker so did not have the usual essentials.

It’s called a hostel, but I’m not sure they have dorms. We stayed in a double room, and it was great. There’s a small fridge in the bedroom, but upstairs in the kitchen there’s a bigger one that’s actually full of free items left by other guests (they have a great labeling system with stickers for the products). So before you go shopping, it’s worth checking what’s available there. The kitchen is really well equipped, and next to it there’s a large dining room. The hostel is on the outskirts of Kirkwall, but it’s less than a 10-minute walk to the town center. The man who works there (the owner, I presume) was very nice and helpful.

I couldn't understand how the device in the shower works, so every time getting the right temperature was a challenge. Not a real problem though :)

Зручне розташування, можна дійти пішки з центра міста за 15 хвилин. Затишні чисті кімнати. Свіжий ремонт, нові меблі. Чайник в кімнаті з запропонованими для заварювання напоями.

Погана звукоізоляція, хоча шумних сусідів не було.

Very comfortable beds, Netflix, hairdryer, towels, on-suite, close to town centre, quiet location, lovely kitchen and lounge area with everything you could need. Even provides books, DVDs and toys. A home from home. Staff were very accommodating and friendly.
