The decision to stay here was last minute, and this place was cheap, and close to the place I was staying the next night so made sense for me, but as a tourist in Leipaja I wouldn't recommend it, and genuinely don't understand some of the reviews. The location is terrible: it's miles away from anything in a derelict industrial area by the docks- Leipaja city centre is 6km away and the beach 8km, and the nearest supermarket is over 1km, with nothing around- just check a map! The decor and furnishings are old and dated(the bunker 'theme' basically meant camo netting stuck to the corridor walls) and maybe I was unlucky but my mattress was very uncomfortable, and I could feel the wire springs in my back all night. Whilst staying there was a group of 10-15 residents who I'm assuming were long term guests and not tourists who were loud and dominated the communal spaces. If you're only in Leipaja or Karosta for a few nights and want easy access to see the sights don't bother with this place.

Everything was very good - much better than expected.
