Property Notes

All guests need to be members of the DJH (German Youth Hostel Association) or Hostelling International. Membership can be purchased at the reception upon arrival. It costs EUR 7 per year for Guests up to the age of 26 and EUR 27.50 for families or guests aged 27 and above. Each year from June onwards, membership will be half price for guests purchasing a DJH membership for the first time. Foreign guests need a Hostelling International Card (EUR 18), if they are not member of a national Hostelling Federation. For single overnight stays a welcome stamp can purchase on arrival, which costs EUR 3.50. Please note that check-in is not possible after 19:30. Please note that for bookings of 6 guests or more, special terms and additional supplements may apply. Each guest aged 18 and over must pay an additional tourist tax of EUR 1.50 per day to the city of Konstanz. A deposit may be required at the property.

L’esmorzar és molt complet i amb productes ecològics. Està situat a 25 minuts del llac a peu, però amb bona comunicació amb bus.

Gute Lage um die Insel Mainau und die Umgebung zu erkunden. Moderne Duschen, Essen ebenfalls in Ordnung.

Es war etwas schade, dass abends nur eine Mitarbeiterin vor Ort war, die sich um Getränke und Rezeption kümmern musste.

"Practical solution for hiking & biking, all the basics, great breakfast."

Friendly and helpful staff despite a busy time of arrival. Great breakfast, lots of info materials on site, safe and covered bike parking.

Access to the lake is cumbersome as the bus is infrequent and the walk quite long, especially with younger kids. I would only bring younger kids if I came by car or by cargo bike.
