Hostel Weisses Rössl

Die Lage ist gut.

Es handelte sich um ein Durchgangszimmer wo die ganze Nacht ein Kommen und Gehen war. An schlafen war nicht zu denken. Die sanitären Einrichtungen sind das schlimmste, was ich je erlebt habe. 2 Toiletten, 2 Waschbecken und 2 Duschen befinden sich in ein und demselben Raum ohne Geschlechtertrennung. Als Frau sich dort um- oder auszuziehen wo sich mehrheitlich halbnackte Männer aufhalten, empfinde ich als eine Zumutung. Ich weiß auch nicht ob das zulässig ist.

I was greeted by the host, she was a young woman that was very sincere. Overall the people that I have met there were nice. I was able to do my laundry for only two euros, overall it was pretty comfortable, the bed was wide and long enough for me and I am 6 feet. Big enough drive way to park your own car.

There isn't any, I think they did a good job.

Nice and clean and quiet

Surprisingly, very pleasant self-check-in when the host was not at place. The self-service refrigerator for cold drinks on a hot day was the best. Very kind and friendly host who prepared an excellent Italian breakfast.

I would definitely NOT recommend this den to anyone. The owner of the den called "Roberto" is a real thug. I arrived at the evening and paid over the booking com site which said I paid in full. I did not know anything about the local taxes and thought all was included. The girl who was the thug's assistant did not tell me anything at the evening. Then next morning at 6-45 (!) I was rudely awakened by this girl who on broken English was telling me " Pay the local tax now!" I said I believe I paid in full and if there is need to pay I will pay later and asked her to leave me alone for now. But she became aggressive and very rude demanding money by shouting "Give me money! give me money now!!". I had to got up and dress and went to see the so called "manager" Roberto. That was a mistake, as he became absolutely mad and was shouting at me on broken English "I am Italian!! I do not understand English! This is my home!! Give me money now!!" This thug even pushed me back for no reason. It was obvious these people are thugs.. So I gave him money and left. I went straight to the local police office and reported this thug and his behaviour. Apparently this thug Roberto is know to the police.. The police logged the case and took my statement and details. I warn any decent person to avoid at any cost this den and these thugs... If it happened in the UK this thug Roberto would be arrested and charged with threatening behaviour and his licence could be revoked.. Please avoid this place at any cost!
