All guests must be members of the DJH, Deutscher Jugendherbergsverbund, German Youth Hostel Association or Hosteling International. Membership can be purchased at the reception upon arrival, with a cost of EUR 7 per year for German guests up to the age of 26 and EUR 27.50 for families or guests aged 27 and above. Each year from June 1st onwards, membership will be half price for guests purchasing a DJH membership for the first time. Foreign guests require a Hosteling International Card, which costs EUR 18, if they are not members of a national Hosteling Federation. For single overnight stays, a Welcome Stamp can be purchased for EUR 3.50. WiFi is available in public areas free of charge twice a day for 60 minutes per device. Please note that bed linen is included in the service charge, but towels incur a fee of EUR 1.50 per towel. Please note that for bookings of 6 guests or more, special terms and additional supplements may apply. A deposit may be required at the property.

people of the djh were very friendly and helpful. Much more friendly then the people of Mannheim.

Shower was really cold, on the hottest stand it feels warm, but at 38C stand it felt like 30C

No need to bring a lock as your key card opens and closes your locker. Lovely rooms, perfect location with a great view of the Rhine. Lots of breakfast options and super friendly staff and hostel mates. One of my favourite hostel experiences thus far.

Beware that Google maps will send you the wrong way if you are coming from the station - so don't exit using the main entrance as they suggest! In the 2 days I stayed there there were long periods of time where the WiFi wasn't working, so I suggest having unlimited data etc. If you plan on making calls, using social media at all during your time here.
