The location is absolutely amazing. It is located so close to the historic center and very close by are beautiful buildings, nice cafes and restaurants. Walking distance to everything needed. Host responded quickly to messages, which was very helpful. Cleaning lady was absolutely lovely.

Communication was bad and confusing from the minute we got there. It was hard to communicate because of the language barrier, but the host made it quite difficult for us. When we got to the apartment (which is not an apartment btw - more like a hostel) everything was super dirty including our room. Our sheets were stained and had dust/particles on it that made it very clear that they had not been changed. We tried to communicate this, but we were met with disbelief. However, the host did agree to ask the cleaning lady to come change the sheets. Which was then done which made the place a little bit nicer. We were also asked by the host to go back to the apartment to open our room with our key for the cleaner to come, but when we got there the cleaner informed us that she had her own key so that was not necessary. Nothing too important, but just one example of the bad communication that made our stay a bit of a headache. The walls and windows are extremely thin so you can hear everything going on in the streets all night long, which was a bit crazy but we were there during carnival. All in all, it would be a much nicer place if it was kept a bit cleaner (especially the bathroom).
