Hostel Kucha

The woman that owns/runs this hostel was absolutely fantastic! So kind, and offered to make me a coffee so I could relax as soon as I arrived. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with really good sized lockers, with lights/power at each bed. The communal areas were also fantastic!

I loved this hostel! Just note that if you have accessibly needs that mean stairs/hills are difficult for you, this may not be the place for you. It’s 30 minutes up into the hills of Sarajevo, and then there’s stairs within the hostel. If this isn’t an issue for you though, would 100% recommend this hostel.

Without a doubt, this is the best hostel I've ever stayed in. Bojan welcomed me so warmly that I immediately felt like I was visiting an old friend – complete with a welcome rakija. He shared excellent local recommendations for food and activities, helping me discover the authentic side of Sarajevo. The hostel was spotless, well-organized, and thoughtfully designed. The communal spaces were perfect for meeting other travelers, and the organized activities made it easy to learn more about Sarajevo and Bosnia. The atmosphere was vibrant and social, while still offering plenty of space to relax and recharge. Staying at Kucha was really an amazing experience!
